Cooperation between OPTIMA CAPITAL AMC and JSC CREDIT BANK (UKRAINE) takes new turn

Optima Capital AMC signed an agreement with JSC Credit Bank (Ukraine) on the services of placing and buying Investment certificates.

According to the agreement, investment certificates of unit investment funds managed by Optima Capital AMC will be on sale at branches of JSC Credit Bank (Ukraine), which allows to increase significantly the database of shareholders among private owners and legal entities. This creates an opportunity to buy investment certificates at any branch of the Credit Bank (Ukraine) and consult with a stock adviser.

Optima Capital AMC CEO Maxim Kuprin stated: “Collaboration with financial institutions and using bank’s branch structure is a normal practice among western asset management companies. This is profitable both for us and for the Credit Bank. They get another retail product and we don’t need to develop a regional branch structure.”

It should be noted, that this is the first agreement on collaboration between a bank and a capital assets management company in Ukraine.

It was previously reported about the placements of all investment certificates of the four unit investment funds managed by Optima Capital AMC. Total value of the assets under management is 2,820 mln. UAH (face value).

The profitability of the diversified unit investment funds was 25,457% annual rate for the Balanced investment fund and 26,14 % for the Reliable investment fund.
