Optima Invest announces the end of bond placement of Cherkasy Poultry Factory Ltd

The bond issue amounting to UAH 15 million was announced on August 25, 2005. The manager and underwriter of the issue is Optima Invest. The paying agent of the issue is Closed JSC Bank NRB-Ukraine.

Cherkasy Poultry Factory Ltd (Pannochka TM) is among the leaders in the Ukrainian chicken market. The company owns a wide distribution network allowing to work more effectively on almost the whole of Ukraine.

The company’s sales were of UAH 6 642.4 thousand in 2003, raised up to UAH 21 575,5 thousand in 2004, and UAH 38 733,9 thousand for just 9 months in 2005.

On August 16, 2005 RA «Credit Rating» assigned the issue of the registered, interest-bearing bonds of Cherkasy Poultry Factory Ltd with a total value of UAH 15 million a long-term ‘uaBBB’ credit rating.

Non-documentary registered, interest-bearing bonds of series «A» of Cherkasy Poultry Factory Ltd are included to the national list of the most liquid stocks on the First Stock Trading System (PFTS).

Interest rate on the three-year bond at face value of UAH 1000 for the first four coupon periods is expected to be 16% annually. The interest rate for the next coupon period will be announced by the issuer depending on market situation, though it can not be lower than the NBU rate.

The issue implies annual offer.

The total amount of funds collected by the issuing companies with the assistance of Optima Invest has reached UAH 100 million.
